Scarborough's 7-day dental clinic
Dentist in Scarborough
Cedarbrae Dental Center sits on Lawrence Avenue East, just east of Markham Road, and sees patients from across Scarborough seven days a week.
In the Cedarbrae Neighbourhood
Cedarbrae Dental Center is located in the Cedarbrae neighbourhood of Scarborough, on Lawrence Avenue East just east of Markham Road. The clinic sits in a plaza that is easy to spot from either direction on Lawrence, with free parking right outside the door.
If you know Cedarbrae Mall, at the Lawrence and Markham intersection, we are only a few minutes further east along the same stretch of road. It is a straightforward stop whether you are coming from within the neighbourhood or from further across the borough.
Serving All of Scarborough
Because Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road sit close to the geographic middle of Scarborough, we see patients from across the borough, not only from the immediate neighbourhood. Woburn is a short trip north up Markham Road. Bendale runs west along Lawrence, on the far side of Thomson Memorial Park. Guildwood is south toward the lake, reachable by a short drive up Markham Road from the Guildwood GO area. Scarborough Village sits further southwest, along the Kingston Road and Eglinton corridor. And Morningside is east, out toward the University of Toronto Scarborough and Centennial College campuses.
Wherever you are coming from, our front desk can walk you through the most direct route, whether that means a single bus, a short drive, or a combination of both.
Getting Here
The 54 and 954 Lawrence East buses run directly along Lawrence Avenue East past our door, and the 102 Markham Road bus connects into the same intersection from the north and south, which covers most trips from within Scarborough with at most one transfer.
If you are driving, we sit on Lawrence Avenue East just east of Markham Road, in a plaza that is easy to see from the road in either direction. Parking is free right outside the clinic, with no meters, permits, or time limits to keep track of during your visit.
If you are coming from outside Scarborough, Lawrence Avenue East runs the length of the borough, so the drive in is usually a matter of following Lawrence east or west until you reach Markham Road, rather than navigating a maze of side streets.
Landmarks Near the Clinic
A few landmarks make the clinic easy to find. Cedarbrae Mall sits at the Lawrence and Markham intersection, a short walk or drive from our door. Thomson Memorial Park runs alongside Lawrence Avenue between Brimley and McCowan, to the west, and the Scarborough Health Network General campus is a little further along the same stretch, past McCowan.
To the east, Lawrence Avenue eventually connects toward the University of Toronto Scarborough and Centennial College campuses by way of Morningside and Ellesmere, which is a familiar route for the students and families who come to us from that side of the city.
Open Seven Days, in Nine Languages
We are open seven days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm every day including Saturday and Sunday, which is unusual among dental offices in Scarborough. It means routine care and urgent concerns alike do not have to wait for a narrow weekday window.
This matters most for people whose schedules do not fit neatly into a nine-to-five week: shift workers, commuters, students, and parents coordinating school drop-offs. Rather than choosing between missing work and postponing care, most patients can find a slot that fits without much rearranging.
Our team also sees patients in nine languages, including Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Gujarati, Spanish, Pashto, Tagalog, and Dari, reflecting the many communities around us. If you are more comfortable discussing your care in one of those languages, our front desk can arrange that when you book.
A Neighbourhood Practice for the Whole Family
Many of our patients have been coming to Cedarbrae Dental Center for years, and it is common for us to see two or three generations of the same family, often bringing kids in alongside parents and grandparents. New patients are just as welcome, whether you are settling into Scarborough for the first time or simply looking for a dental office closer to home.
Your first visit includes a full exam, a review of your history, and a straightforward conversation about anything you want to address, without pressure to commit to more than you came in for.
